Today I’m going to talk to you guys about how to get the perfect moustache swoop. Well, everybody has their own style of moustache that they like to go with. Me, I normally like to go with my English style and with that there’s no swoop at all. However, I do like to go with handlebars sometimes and there is a swoop on that.
To get the perfect swoop – if you’re going with English style like I have on my left you’re going to take and trim the hairs right up underneath here. You’re going to trim them up really tight to the lip, to where you want your English style to start.
Also, wax. When you’re going to wax, you’re going to wax closer to the lip. When you wax closer to the lip it’s going to give you a straight across look.
Now on this side where it’s drooping I’ve got more of a swoop on this side. I did that by not cutting the hairs up underneath the moustache here. So what that does is that hair that grows out – it doesn’t have to be a lot, just a little bit – you start growing these hairs out. The further down on you lip you grow these hairs out, it’s going to gradually make that moustache swoop. If you go and don’t trim on this side for a little bit, you’re going to have a better swoop on this side.
As on this side I’ve trimmed these hairs and I don’t have any swoop at all. Also with the wax on this side, if you wax it a little lower it’s going to be a little heavier and that’s going to pull it down some. If you guys are looking to get more swoop game going, that’s how you do it!
