If you'd prefer to read about what to expect when you wear a moustache, please read the transcript of the video below.
Today I’m going to talk to you guys about going out in public with your styled moustache. Here’s a few things that you can expect.
When you go outside and you’ve got your bars are all styled up - what can you expect from the public? Well you’re going to get a lot of compliments, that’s for sure. But you’re going to get some compliments that aren’t so great. If you’re sensitive that might hurt your feelings.
Kids have a mind of their own. They are going to say pretty much whatever is on their mind and they don’t care. So, if they don’t care you shouldn’t care either. It should roll off your back and you guys should just have a good time and laugh it off.
However, you’re going to have those older people who are the same way and they don’t like your moustache. What do you do about it? You just sit back and think to yourself “Don’t be jealous. I have a killer moustache.”
Now depending on how you have your moustache styled people’s heads are going to turn. If you have a really long English style moustache like I normally wear you’re going to get heads to turn. It’s pretty amazing when that happens. If you have just normal curled up bars some people might not notice. They might look at you and do a double take. Nothing out of the ordinary; it happens all the time.
A lot of times you’ll get compliments that you look like celebrities. The one I get the most often is, “You look like Rollie Fingers.” So, I roll it off. Man, that guy was a great pitcher and you know, he had a great moustache and so do I. And that’s just what you got to tell yourself. You got to go out there and be confident. You didn’t grow your moustache to hide away. You grew your moustache to go out and show it off.
Those are just a few of things you can look forward to when you go out in public with your styled moustache.
