The Kent Beard Comb: As beards grow longer, the possibility of tangles increases, making a wide-toothed comb a necessity. The Kent Beard Comb with its uniform widely-spaced teeth is ideal for beards of any length, allowing you to tame and train the hair with daily use. If you’re looking for a comb to assist with styling your moustache, please check out this comb’s little brother, the Kent Moustache Comb. You can also purchase both combs as a combo.
Kent handmade combs are saw cut, and then hand polished and buffed to create soft rounded teeth that will not damage your hair or scalp. They are made from cellulose acetate, a non-petroleum based plastic derived from plants that has been found to create less static in hair. These teeth run smoothly through the beard to distribute the hair’s natural oils as well as any beard oil of balm evenly throughout.

Why us? Can You Handlebar has been producing beard and moustache products since 2012, we were one of the first five companies to do so. We’ve learned a lot over the years and have taken feedback from our customers to heart. Simply put, we believe we offer some of the best products on the market.
We produce all of our oils, Dry Oils (beard balm) and waxes in-house in our Mt. Clemens, MI facility. All of our products are made in the U.S. and that’s not just a point of patriotic pride, it allows us oversight and quality control we wouldn’t otherwise have if we chose to outsource overseas. We package and ship everything ourselves, our customer support is all handled in-house as well.
Our products and packaging are designed for hands-on, practical, everyday use. Our goal is to provide our customers with real world solutions to their grooming needs and to support them along their journey. To that end we’ve established The Beard Mentor, our educational blog answering customer questions and providing tips and advice on beard and moustache care. Read it now. If you ever have a question you can’t find an answer to there, please let us know. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or check the “Contact” listing below.
Cellulose acetate is a non-petroleum-based plastic compound made from plants used here for a “faux-tortoiseshell” look. It’s less likely than traditional plastics to generate static when combing and the hand-finished hand-sanded details of the Kent comb make for a gentle non-abrasive combing experience.
Starting with the tips of your beard, pull the comb gently down downward, then move back up to the top of the beard at the sides, and then through the middle. Repeat as needed and throughout the day for a groomed and composed look. We recommend applying some beard oil or Beard Dry Oil (Beard Balm) prior to your first combing each day. This will help relax any natural tangles and the act of combing will help disperse product as well as the hair’s natural oils evenly throughout your beard and moustache.
