Maintain your beard in classic style with a wide-tooth, handmade beard comb that will season with use and last a lifetime. Store it safely while traveling or at home in the included handcrafted holder.
NOTE: This combo includes both the beard comb and the wooden holder. No two handmade combs or holders are identical. The beard comb and holder you receive will be unique to you and may vary in coloration or grain from the examples that appear here.
Every signature Can You Handlebar beard comb is cut, assembled, and sanded by hand. This attention to detail insures not only the heirloom quality of each individual comb but also that it meets the specific grooming needs of your facial hair. The wide teeth are designed to allow you to comb your beard without fear of tugging, pulling or hair loss. The painstaking hand-sanding process is of particular importance in removing any sharp edges from the wood so that each pass of the comb through your beard hair is smooth and free from any snags, cuts or breakage to the hair.
Once the sanding process is complete, the comb is dipped in a mixture of linseed and mineral oils. This mixture enhances the natural color of the wood, protects the comb, and allows the wood to remain porous. Over time, the wood will absorb any product used in the beard as well as the hair’s natural oils, seasoning the comb and giving it a color and patina unique to each user.
The included holder is handmade from solid oak and features a knit elastic band to hold your comb snugly in place. Created specifically to pair with the Paduak comb, it’s the perfect companion piece, ensuring ideal storage and safety while traveling or at home. The neutral coloration of the oak makes a perfect complement to the vivid natural colors of your comb and will also gain a deepening patina over time as it is used and handled.
Why us? Can You Handlebar has been producing beard and moustache products since 2012, we were one of the first few companies to do so. We’ve learned a lot over the years and have taken feedback from our customers to heart. Simply put, we believe we offer some of the best products on the market.
We produce all of our oils, Dry Oils (beard balm) and waxes in-house in our Mt. Clemens, MI facility. All of our products are made in the U.S. and that’s not just a point of patriotic pride, it allows us oversight and quality control we wouldn’t otherwise have if we chose to outsource overseas. We package and ship everything ourselves, our customer support is all handled in-house as well.
Our products and packaging are designed for hands-on, practical, everyday use. Our goal is to provide our customers with real world solutions to their grooming needs and to support them along their journey. To that end we’ve established The Beard Mentor, our educational blog answering customer questions and providing tips and advice on beard and moustache care.

Comb: Paduak wood
Handle: Wenge wood
Holder: Oak wood
Band: Knit elastic
Paduak (pronounced pah-duke) is an African wood that is moderately heavy, strong and stiff, with exceptional stability. Paduak presents in a unique reddish orange color that will deepen over time. This is the natural coloration of the wood, not the result of any stain or paint, and is quite exceptional to behold in person.
The handle is made from Wenge (pronounced when-gay), another wood of African origin. The wood grain of the Wenge handle runs perpendicular to the grain of the Paduak body, which adds strength and stability to the overall structure of the comb as well as providing a unique two-toned look. The comb is designed for strength, durability and longevity, insuring you years of proper grooming.
The holder is handcrafted from solid oak and makes for an incredibly durable storage space for your Paduak comb.

Starting with the tips of your beard, pull the comb gently down downward, then move back up to the top of the beard at the sides, and then through the middle. Repeat as needed and throughout the day for a groomed and composed look. We recommend applying some beard oil or Beard Dry Oil (Beard Balm) prior to your first combing each day. This will help relax any natural tangles and the act of combing will help disperse product as well as the hair’s natural oils evenly throughout your beard and moustache.
While the comb is extremely durable, we do not recommend back-pocket carry on its own.
To store your comb in the oak holder, simply tuck it behind the elastic, making sure that it is secure within the space provided.
