How to Survive a Cold with a Beard and Moustache

I’m currently struggling with one of the worst colds I’ve ever had and thought this might be a good time to discuss a few strategies for helping you and your moustache and beard survive a cold.

Always keep a tissue or handkerchief handy. More than most, those of us with facial hair need to be on the lookout for the remains of a sneeze or nose-blowing session trying to hang around after the fact. You may choose to indulge in a hot soak in the tub or a long shower to feel better, just make sure to follow up with your usual Beard Oil or Beard Dry Oil conditioning routine.
Stay hydrated. As you dry out, your skin dries out and this can throw the balance of natural oils in your facial hair out of whack.
